Want to plan out CR for the game? This is the spot! Fill out the handy form below if you want to and reply around. This is also open to anyone who's looking to put in a claim but hasn't yet.
Of course not ~ ! There might just be extra incentive to convince him he wants to do something....
Honestly, Reno can be super reckless and trigger-happy, but he's not stupid. If he's not immediately pissed off (which is unfortunately his trigger for running in and being a dumbass), he can actually be decently insightful. If someone has a certain desire, or trait, etc., he'll want to present in a way that plays to that, makes it seem like whatever he's offering is a "good" deal.
It's... actually kind of like playing Dragon Age I & II and leaving certain companions behind when you're about to do something disagreeable, so they won't know about it...
So, like, example -- Reno was an asshole about going through with (kidnapping) detaining Nanaki and bringing him to Hojo's lab in the first place. But, Shinra originally wanted Nanaki's mate, and Reno allowed him to take her place as well as say goodbye to the village. He's not above making compromises.
You know Reno, people usually get really hurt if he loses his temper. He might not wield a sharpened sword, but the blows from it do break bones and crack open skulls.
Luckily there's Cure materia right?
Nah, Kenshin doesn't try to make people mad and he will be very relieved once he realizes that no one knows what Himura Battosai is or means, so he isn't expecting anyone to try to make him return to that. The problem though is that he can't hide the years of training and fighting that he has been through. And if anything, I'm pretty sure that his 'humble wanderer' act would fall apart the moment he does something that a normal person wouldn't do. Like dodge people during a fight, or balance easily on an inch wide beam.
I would actually like to see how these two will work out as Reno tries to compromise and Kenshin tries to avoid things.
